On Friday, August 22, 2025, Professor Frans Swanepoel and Professor Margaret Chitiga-Mabugu from the University of Pretoria (Republic of South Africa), one of our partner universities, visited TUFS during their trip to Japan for the 9th Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD 9).

Professors Shinichi Takeuchi and Chizuko Sato from our center also participated in the meeting. Together with President Nobuo Haruna, they exchanged views on further promoting academic exchange between the two universities.
